Lucid Eye Bringing Elfking Roleplaying Game To Life Soon

The team at Lucid Eye are going to be expanding their world of Elfking even more over the next while. As well as having their main game, The Red Book Of The Elfking and Elfking Red, there is also going to be a new roleplaying game, Elfking: The Immortal Roleplaying Game.

At this current time, a few digital editions of the game have been sent out to folks to give their feedback on and more is on the way including expansion material and a few tweaks and balances to what they have already produced. The game is driven exclusively with d10 and has been designed to keep gameplay fast with as little maths and record-keeping as possible.
One of the hardest parts of development according to Lucid Eye was making sure that the game worked at a low "power level" considering the immortals and the godlike powers that they have within their world. By all accounts, they have managed to strike a good balance and I am looking forward to giving it a proper read.

With a mix of beautiful artwork, plenty of in-depth lore and more, this seems like it could be a lot of fun for folks to dive into. Combine this roleplaying game with the addition of their miniatures range and I can sense that folks are going to have some fun making their characters and diving into this world.
Content-wise, the game breaks down all the core concepts that you'd expect including taking on the role of an Elf and playing as the Gamesmaster. You've also got a breakdown of the general resolution of mechanics, character creation, combat, magic, powerful weapons and artefacts, background material and foes.
The world design and art is the thing that drew me to Elfking in the first place and now, with the chance to become characters in this world, I can sense myself getting properly absorbed in it.
Will you be keeping an eye out for more on Elfking?

Oh, nice! I really dig Elf King’s setting and aesthetic; that art is DYNAMITE! I’ll be keeping an eye out for this, if for no other reason than to dig deeper into the lore!
Looks good.
