Wanderer's Emporium is on Kickstarter right now with a fun project showcasing some wonderful artwork and handy accessories to have in your back pocket as a Dungeon Master or player in your games of D&D and beyond.

Their first set of hard-pressed cardboard miniatures was released earlier this year and now the team are back on Kickstarter looking to add a whole bunch more of these tokens, for both heroes and monsters, for you to use in your games.

The art has been finished for two packs giving you some great options for heroes and villains. The idea is to produce them as hard-wearing cardboard tokens as you can see here and the target they are looking to reach on Kickstarter will enable them to begin production on the new pieces.

What I like about the character set is that it offers up both male and female versions of the different classes you might encounter in your Fantasy roleplaying games with a few of the classic races featured. You'll never be able to do all of the options available to players but this is a good start.

The classic collection is going to be joined by these two boxes here. You have the Class Pack which comes with thirty-five options for you to have fun with including some nice NPCs.

You also have the fun Sinister Pack which comes with all manner of ghouls and ghosts that go bump in the night. You can use these for your spooky encounters and sit them alongside the traditional goblins and such that Wanderer's Emporium has created already.

You can currently get the standees/tokens/miniatures in their physical form OR you can pick them up as PDF files which you can print out at home at your leisure. I think I'd go for the physical miniatures myself as I like the quality that I've seen from the examples on the Kickstarter page.

I am also very much in favour of using standees and such for board games and roleplaying games as they look great and do the job well. Plus, I don't end up having to paint a lot more miniatures which is always helpful when I have armies waiting!

What do you make of their new project?
