I grew up with the Lone Wolf books; huge fan of Mr Dever, so think I will give this a try for sure.
Cool to see some RPG discussed! Hope to see more with time.
Another d10 alternative you almost always carry with you and can even use while walking; the hundredths of a second on any stop-watch or mobile phone.
I like Minds Eye roleplaying, its very descriptive and brings out a lot more imagination than using minis in a game. Sounds like an interesting roleplay and something to pick up.
Interesting to see a new universe with unique fluff too it. Hope we can see more and more roleplaying games appearing here on the site, and this is a good start – And Cosmic Patrol of course! Nothing better than having a good chin wag about a roleplaying game.
Well done guys 🙂
Sounds like fun. I never knew of this RPG or the books they are based on. Only did D&D and that was a long time ago.
Loved the gamebook series when I was a kid. Nice to see a proper RPG system based on the Lone Wolf world. One Kai warrior was pretty tough, I can see a gaming group of them as characters getting into all sorts of shenanigans.
On that subject of gamebooks-to-rpg.. I’d really like to see the Fighting Fantasy rpg rereleased with heaps more support and books! the world of Titan was seriously high adventure.
They have!! http://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Fighting-Fantasy-Graham-Bottley/dp/0857440675 sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet 😉
Loved the lone wolf gamebooks, felt tey had a much more enticing sense of narrative and character development compared to FF’s standalone approach, bested only by the Fabled Lands series.
