Loke BattleMats Preview Their Next Box Of Adventure!
February 10, 2022 by brennon
Loke BattleMats has previewed the new cover to their next Box Of Adventure which will offer up everything you need for a D&D (or any other roleplaying game!) quest!
Box Of Adventure Coast Of Dread // Loke BattleMats
The newest Box Of Adventure is titled the Coast Of Dread and changes things up from the last one Valley Of Peril. The first box was a good way to play out a very "generic" (in the best way) Fantasy adventure set in the wilds of pretty much any world. Coast Of Dread, at least from the cover, looks to shake things up. There are still dragons though!
Coast Of Dread will be coming later in 2022 and will feature modular, fold-out maps and tokens as well as terrain features, beasts, baddies and NPCs that you can use in your games. A one-stop shop for your adventures without too much work for the GM!
Are you going to be keeping an eye out for this?

Love, love, LOVE the Loke Battle Mat books. The only thing I’m not keen on with their Adventure Box series is that the tokens aren’t pre-cut, which means they’re on a level with pretty much any PDF token set you could freely download (other than the dry-erase surface, which isn’t super useful for tokens anyway.)

Compatible (and less fiddly) than the D&D game tiles. Laminated cardstock isn’t as thick as the cardboard spiral-bound “Book of” series (which, of course, while more deluxe, is more expensive). You can also use the token sheet as a face gallery of NPC’s, since each token is numbered. Just jot down the number into your NPC stat block, and you… Read more »
