Loke BattleMats Look Ahead To 2024 Releases & Kickstarters
December 1, 2023 by brennon
Loke BattleMats have been previewing what's coming up in 2024, in addition to hitting BackerKit with their Deck Of Many Insults. 2024 will see new releases and Kickstarter projects featuring new aids for dungeon-delving adventurers.
The Terrain Set // Loke BattleMats
We start with The Terrain Set towards the beginning of 2024. You'll get two modular map books featuring sheets of scenery stickers that you can use to modify your battle maps. This upcoming set looks like it will be a good option for those looking to design more interesting encounters on the tabletop.
As well as The Terrain Set, we'll also see an addition to the Giant series of books. This time, they're looking at Wilds, Wrecks & Ruins.

As you might have guessed by the name, this is going to be a great option for those seeking to create larger wilderness encounters for their adventures in games like D&D. You will be able to combine this with the Big Book to create some fascinating landscapes to battle over. These bigger books could also be the perfect backdrop for a variety of skirmish games too.
Much like with the rest of their collection, these lay nice and flat thanks to the ring bound centre and are wipe clean so you can doodle on them with your pens!
Last but not least, we have the Big Box Of Dungeon Doors which does exactly what it says on the tin!

You'll get a bunch of awesome Dungeon Doors that you can use as portals between rooms or devious traps that have been designed to cunningly trap your heroes! There's plenty on the way from Loke over the next few months and it will be fun to get a closer look.
What do you make of these upcoming releases?

Crikey they’ve been busy. With this and the Bumper Book of Swears they’re really spoiling us.
Nice!
And if you prefer fold-out maps, take a look at their “Box of Adventure” (Valley of Peril and Coast of Dread) and “RPG Toolkit” (The Long Road, and The Veiled Dungeon) series!

I’ve been hoping they’d do something that worked for skirmish games – like Burrows and Badgers, Bushido, Silver Bayonet and the like. Colour me interested.
Ooh very nice still to see one to get one.
