Limited Edition Balthus Dire Available From Otherworld

As the second commissioned miniature for the Fighting Fantasy series Otherworld Miniatures has created the character of Balthus Dire!

Here's some more information on the miniature...

"The miniature represents Balthus Dire, evil denizen of the Citadel of Chaos and the second member of the Demonic Three, the notorious triumvirate of dread sorcerors."

Standing at around 34mm in height this fellow would be a perfect present for a fan of Fighting Fantasy I reckon. Sculpted by Paul Muller, inspired by the iconic drawing by Russ Nicholson, this character would be a great project to work on.

It is limited to 1000 copies and will be available for two years before it's gone for good.

Eating The Dead

As well as that limited edition miniature there was also this monster I wanted to draw your attention to with Vrednii, The Eater Of The Corpses.

This towering beast is unlike other Dragons you might have faced and indeed has a real feel of the creepy and the old school about it. It is actually representing one of the Lesser Son of Set that comes as part of their Judge's Guild range.

I think it would be a nice alternative beast to throw into the mix during your dungeon delving!
