RPG for these times and beyond,……
It’s a proper goodun as well, especially if you like Aliens and such. Very quick and easy to dive into.
that was a fabulous & funny game video guys your droid was obviously from the same production run as Ash.
That was a great session. Nathan did a nice job of jumping the action from place to place to create repeated mini-cliff hangers that helped make it all the more entertaining. I was a bit surprised the robot wasn’t named Justin though 🙂
I hope you guys get together for some more sessions in the future.
I bought this book at launch and told my wife I can’t wait to get in some play sessions. I saw in my Email that this ‘Lets Play’ had been posted so I convinced my wife to watch a bit of it with me in our home theater. After a while I turned to her and said, “I knew this game was good, I’ll watch the rest of this later”. She glared at me and said, “Turn it back on, I want to see what happens”! ?? She did say this was as entertaining as ‘Critical Role’. ? I for… Read more »
That’s high praise, thank you both!
Hmmm. NPC Warren is supposed to be in charge but is sat around doing nothing. When spoken to he’s seemingly oblivious to everything thats going on. He then ignores any plans his team had and does his own thing. I wonder if there’s any hidden meanings behind this one shot?
…ahem
Y’all should do a regular RPG feature because listening to that was a lot of fun.
Was good fun to listen to,never mind play.Nice on guys.
I really enjoyed watching this Let’s Play. Not a role layer myself, but this was very entertaining. I enjoyed the way the GM was able to have different players in different locations, yet keep the action moving. Since we all have watched SF movies, it seems that general knowledge is what keeps this game moving, yet the players didn’t need extensive background to play the game!
Great job!
Yea, you lot need to do more sessions like this, I enjoyed it. ? Also would love to see everyone get some rpg in from time to time. Oh and one last thing, you should toss those dice into a volcano. ?
I did when I visited Iceland two weeks ago, with hindsight it may have been a mistake
that was great!
Really enjoyed this, ordered the book off the back of this. I hope it has this scenario in it, as I really want to run this one-shot.
Sadly no, this adventure is not in the core book but there is one in there called ‘The Argent III Report’. I will be writing up a few of the online games I’ve run as published adventures, though, and this will most likely be one of them!
Thanks for the opportunity to run this game for you – I had a great time!
Really enjoyed watching this and I agree with all the other comments above that I would love to watch more.
I’ve never done role-playing before, but off the back of this video I bought the book and think I’ll try and introduce it to my gaming group, to sit with stargrave and billion suns for some linked scenarios where we can.
And then to really seal the deal that this was all meant to be…. I read the opening line of the introduction to find this all stems back to Jonathan sneakily watching alien, on the very day I was born.
It was written in the stars, mate!
I thoroughly enjoyed that, thanks guys. So much so I’ve just ordered a copy, it’ll be the first ever RPG I’ve bought.
