LEGO Tell The Red Dragon’s Tale In New Dungeons & Dragons Set

LEGO has teamed up with Wizards Of The Coast to bring a new Ideas kit to life. The Red Dragon's Tale is a brand new set that will be available at the start of April complete with heroes, monsters, a terrible Red Dragon and an adventure for you to play.

The set features a towering bastion, a humble tavern, a small patch of forest and more for you to explore. As well as the massive Red Dragon that serves as the focal point of this adventure, you'll also find an Owlbear, a Displacer Beast and a Beholder skulking around.

The castle looks like the perfect place for a dastardly villain to take up residence and the tavern even comes with a little hidden nook where your heroes can plan and perhaps play out their adventures.

As you can see, the set is packed with detail. I like the inventive use of different components to create traps and more as well as the Gelatinous Cube hiding there in the bottom of the dungeon depths! There is a good mix of different character miniatures in the set too. It has also been noted that a full Minifig series is going to be coming out with a D&D theme as well so there is room for expansion!
It would be weird to create a Dungeons & Dragons set and not have an adventure to run alongside it. The Red Dragon’s Tale will be available as a downloadable adventure alongside the set so you can have some fun alongside the family when this drops. LEGO will also be running a live D&D session on 6th April to showcase the set and the adventure in action.
Do remember this is LEGO. So, it has a hefty price tag. Fancy spending £315?
