Learn The Lore Of The Bloodlines In Vampire the Masquerade
April 27, 2017 by dracs
Onyx Path Publishing have released a new supplement for Vampire the Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition (V20) detailing the lesser known bloodlines of the kindred.
The Bloodlines are those Vampires who don't fit neatly into one of the main thirteen clans. Maybe they are a subset of an existing clan or a former clan that has fallen on hard times. Maybe they are a twisted creation of the Tremere.
Whatever their origins, the bloodlines are inevitably fascinating characters, both as players and NPCs.
In this book you will find:
- Rules and background for nine bloodlines, including the Gargoyles, Baali, Daughters of Cacophony, Harbingers of Skulls, Kiasyd, Nagaraja, Salubri, Samedi, and True Brujah.
- Combo Disciplines, powers, Merits, Flaws, as well as other bloodlines specific rules.
- Revisions and updates to the Vampire: The Masquerade material, bringing it in line with V20.
The bloodlines are a great addition to VtM games and can be a fun way for a GM to throw a spanner into the works. In my own recent games, I made extensive use of Kiasyd and Blood Brother NPCs to throw the players off kilter, while the Salubri are one of my favourite Vampire groups.
I definitely plan to pick up this supplement from DriveThruRPG and see what else it lets me bring to the table.
Do you have a favourite bloodline or clan?
