Hardback book £50 + postage, or PDF £25.
No postage estimates given, so good luck with that folks.
£50 plus a unknow postage cost for a 200page book! Like the idea but sure seems expensive
And “Edit: There is a typo in the rewards where it says this tier comes with a deck! That is fully by mistake, and is unalterable now that people have signed on for that tier.”, plus this is the first project this person has created, the lack of details of shipping costs, and the low looking initial goal of only £8k to get a book of this size printed, and it seems to have a few issues people might want to consider before backing.
Used to work with a guy an his nickname was seagull he liked a drink & hot curry as well. sounds great as you get the best contacts in the taverns with the drinks are flowing in games.
When people say the hobby is too expensive I should point them at this sort of kick starter. Nearly 300 people spent 50 pounds on an made up book of drinks just for D&D. Lets be honest a lot of people in this hobby have a lot of spare money to spend on things 🙂
Makes GW prices look reasonable 🙂
That’s a lot of money for a bunch of drinks descriptions which is just a bit of fluff for a setting.
Love the idea. But yeah 50+ quid for 200 pages for a bit of harmless fluff does seem a tad expensive…But its the sort of really really niche thing that will make money.
5E fans are a cash cow it seems.
