Impudent Mortal Adds Hex Grid Option To The Tiles Of Adventuring KS

The backers have spoken, and they have asked for tiles with a hex grid option. Impudent Mortal agreed that it was a great idea, so off to the computer they went to make it happen.
As of the end of the week, the Tiles of Adventuring: Tabletop Grid System has added a hex grid option to the project in 2 different sizes- a 1.5" by 1.75" grid pattern and a 1" by 1 1/4".
I believe they are actually making a hex shaped tile option as well, so keep your eyes open for that one as well.
We also had a chance to ask Impudent Mortal about the shipping concerns raised by international backers, and they were happy to explain. They opted to go with a flat rate shipping charge, which given the considerable weight involved with this project (these tiles are not light), offered the greatest degree of benefit.
On the front end, it may feel like more money, but the flip side offers a tremendous benefit- here's why. Once you have pledged for at least one set of 12 tiles, anything else you order does not effect the shipping price. So you could order 100 tiles and not pay any more shipping- which translates to a considerable savings to folks if they share the expense of the Kickstarter.
For example, if your RPG group has 5 people that are interested in the tiles, and you order under one person, that flat rate shipping price can be split and you all come out ahead.
Will you be ordering some hex grid tiles for your gaming?

the hex boards will be great for war maps?
Definitely one to watch – I see an opportunity to use it with stuff like @oriskany s World War 2.5 or similar
