Havan The Warrior & Volac The Mage Sculpted Up By Mountain Of Metal

Like two characters from a dark Fantasy novel both Havan Half-Seen the Warrior/Rogue and Volac the Mage have been sculpted up for 28mm scale by Mountain Of Metal. This pair would either be mortal enemies of best friends during an adventure I reckon...

Half-Seen

As we mentioned with his concept art Havan looks like he spends most of his time skulking around in the shadows and then strikes with both that dangerous looking sword and the axe he holds in the other hand.

Havan Half Seen

I actually think the sculpt here is better than the concept art (see their social media page for more) as it doesn't automatically brand him as some evil doer. I would say he falls more into the category of one of those roguish anti-heroes that you'd see begrudgingly take up the sword to defend the Kingdom.

Magic

By comparison Volac looks like he really enjoys his power. While I'm not a fan of the foot-on-rock syndrome striking once again I think the pose is fantastic. Someone with more skill than I could maybe make it look like the book is glowing, and the energy from the spell is travelling down his arm and out of the staff...

Volac

I think he could be a great player character or indeed a leader of a warband in a game like Frostgrave. He could also be a villainous foe that your heroes have to face deep within a dungeon and Havan is the only one who knows the way inside.

What do you make of these two?
