Gale Force Nine Detail Their D&D 5th Edition Releases!

Gale Force Nine have seriously committed to making some great miniatures for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and their recent product video shows off a whole range of models and some components to help your role-playing run smoothly...
First up we have some of the components that will be available for D&D. Firstly there is a token set for the various conditions in the game meaning you won't have to scribble anything down on your character sheet. Dungeon Masters are also going to be getting some DM Screens that are tailored towards the specific adventure modules. The one above is for Horde of the Dragon Queen.
The real big draw however is of course the miniatures. A whole load of heroes and villains are going to be available for the various adventures and I am particularly drawn to both the Heroes of Neverwinter (from the Neverwinter MMORPG) and Elminster Aumar. Of course the massive Dracolich from the Neverwinter game is also pretty awesome.
Will you be picking up these limited run sets?

‘The real big draw however is of course the miniatures’ , how about the draw being the actual game , which after the abomination of 4th ED is a welcome breeze!
Haha yes of course @synthetik – I suppose I meant the draw to the D&D stuff GF9 was doing. You are of course right, the new system is very good!!!

Spell Cards and character tokens hopefully will be as good as they sound. Not concerned by minis, as the Reaper Bones kickstarters filled pretty much all the gaps there.
Of course I guess until I have a decent play through of 5E the jury is still out. I love my Pathfinder but anything to cut back on micro managing character creation and game mechanics could be a bonus in the long run.
Kudos to GF4, blurring the line between the MMO, the new D&D edition and tabletop gaming (well, it was blurred already, but nevertheless) is a good way of making the communities getting interested in each others stuff.
I haven’t really been sold on the humanoid minis from the Collector’s Series but their monsters are fantastic.I will say that some of these latest humanoid sculpts look pretty good…I actually really like Elminster.
By the way Brennon…how could you NOT mention the Behir?! That model is incredible and were it not for the Dracolich it would have been the highlight of the minis!
