Face Fearsome Gnolls In New Epic Encounters D&D Sets
March 5, 2024 by brennon
Steamforged Games has a couple of new Epic Encounters sets coming up for those looking to build up new adventures for your D&D 5th Edition group. This time, we're looking at some classics of the Dungeons & Dragons adventure, the Gnolls.
Savannah Of The Gnoll // Steamforged Games
The first of the sets is a neat one that gets you lined up for a proper clash with some of these feral beasties in Savannah Of The Gnoll. This set features a whole host of pre-assembled miniatures including Feral Gnolls and Dire Hyenas. You also get the battle map and a full encounter booklet that gives you all the rules you need for setting up this encounter as part of your D&D campaign.

Even if you're not using this set for your 5th Edition adventures in D&D, you could use these Gnolls for all manner of other tabletop games. Rangers Of Shadow Deep features Gnolls quite a lot so you could easily find a slot for these in your adventures.
A Big, Bad, Boss Encounter!
If you're looking for a big boss encounter for you to dive into after you've battled the above Gnolls, you can also pick up the Rage Of The Gnoll Warseeker Epic Encounters set.
Rage Of The Gnoll Warseeker // Steamforged Games
The Gnoll Warseeker is a big, bad, engine of destruction that is going on a bloody rampage and only you can stop him. This deadly beast can be added in as a follow-up to the above Epic Encounters set or simply as a one-off encounter that could be tied into a different adventure you have written up.

Another impressive miniature. The pre-assembled nature of the miniatures in these Epic Encounters sets makes them perfect for those looking to set up cool-looking encounters without too much effort. You can paint them, or if you're more of a roleplayer than a hobbyist, you simply just crack these out and have some fun.
Make sure to check out our Steamforged Games section of OnTableTop as we've unboxed quite a few of these sets over the last few years!
Will you be snapping up these Gnolls?

Nicely themed packages. Good value. Cool sculpts that need a bit of attention but paint up real nice. I like this concept… but not every set is a sure thing and I usually don’t have much use for the big single minis.
