Elementals Spring To Life From Otherworld
September 3, 2015 by brennon
Otherworld Miniatures have shown off the 'greens' for their upcoming range of Elementals which will be useful for any dungeon delving adventures you're going to be undertaking this autumn. See what you think of the Fire, Air and Water ones so far with the Earth Elemental to follow in the coming weeks...
The question Otherworld are asking right now is whether or not you'd prefer them to come out in resin or metal. I think they would be good in resin considering their size although you can't argue with the nice heft of metal.
I think the designs are good if a little old school; but that fits right into the range Otherworld have created. I'm not a fan of the little eyes on them and would probably incorporate them into the rest of the paint scheme.
What do you think?

Nice but a bit Scooby-doo’ish.
They look “OK” with the air elemental looking the best. Fire and Water look too flat, and when you have Reaper miniatures fantastic Fire, Water and Air they have a lot to contend with.
You’re right @questsoflegend . I have both the fire and water elementals, but I’m waiting for the air elemental to come out in Bones.
It was in the last Bones KS so next year you’ll have it.
I really like them. As with most of Otherworld’s stuff, it’s made to look exactly like the pictures in the old D&D handbooks (though with a lot better detail), in particular, the monster manual. They should definitely go for resin with these bad boys, as they would be a bit large for metal.
very retro…… perfect !!!
Those are rather nice.
Sorry, but after Rackham gave us those Confrontation elementals back in the late 90s these just don’t cut it for me.
