Dragon Age RPG Set 3 Details & Ultimate Edition Announced!
July 16, 2014 by brennon
Not long ago we talked about how Green Ronin had got the go ahead on the Dragon Age RPG Set 3 and it would be coming out soon. Well, more details have appeared surrounding the set and another big addition to the tabletop RPG...
Dragon Age Set 3 will be coming out in the standard format of a PDF and a hard copy in August of this year and while the previous sets will still be available in digital form they will not be getting a reprint. However to fill that void Dragon Age is getting the Ultimate treatment and they will be producing a single book that contains all the information from Set 1, 2, and 3.
This Ultimate Edition also comes around the time of Dragon Age Inquisition and will give you some options for when and where you want to set your role-playing campaign. Instead of being set around the first video games timeline you could set your adventure at any point during Thedas' past or indeed future. Sounds great!
Will you be getting Set 3?

There will be digital versions of all of the sets available for the foreseeable future as far as I can tell yes.
While I had many fun moments with Dragon Age sets I and II, I won’t be getting the set III. The game ran out of steam with stretching delays and with too few sourcebooks released. There are many things I like about Dragon Age and the world of Thedas, but its nothing I can’t replicate with other game systems out there. Most of the setting material publication has moved out of Green Ronin’s hands to other publishers, anyway. The Ultimate Edition is something I might look into as it solves the problem of referencing four different books (six if you… Read more »
