Face The Destroyer Of Worlds In Fria Ligan’s Alien RPG Supplement
September 9, 2020 by brennon
Fria Ligan has now added a new supplement to their webstore for Alien: The Roleplaying Game. Dive into Destroyer Of Worlds, a new cinematic scenario for you to survive that brings together many of the fantastic elements that make up the Alien Sci-Fi universe.
Destroyer Of Worlds // Alien: The Roleplaying Game
In this set, you'll get the aforementioned cinematic scenario which has been written by Sci-Fi novelist Andrew E.C. Gaska. He also penned the story behind Chariot Of The Gods too; another of their scenarios. This scenario has you taking on the role of Colonial Marines as you fight through hell to try and complete your mission. I would imagine it's going to be a terrible, terrible day in the Corp.
This cinematic scenario should take three sessions to complete and works for between three-to-five players plus the Game Mother. Contained within the set you'll get the scenario book, double-sided map of the Ariarcus Colony and the Fort Nebraska Space Elevator Ground Base. You'll also get five pre-generated characters, custom cards for weapons, vehicles and personal agendas and finally a bunch of player maps and handouts.
You WILL need the Alien Core Rulebook or Starter Set in order to play through this scenario but this feels like it could be an excellent way to spend your evening. I think these cinematic scenarios are a great idea and a way to play within a game's universe without having to devout months and months to a sprawling campaign.
Are you going to pick this up?

Will be getting this for sure, really looking forward to playing through it with my group ???
Ooh nice great stuff.
Nuke them from orbit it’s the only way to be sure.
Have this pre-ordered for months. I’m a big fan of the universe but one of my players is an Alien fanatic. We’re just about to launch into Curse of Strahd for D&D but after that I’m planning on running the Alien Starter set and this back to back for a complete change of pace. I’ve had a read through the core book and it looks awesome.
The rules are based on FL’s Year Zero system which we used for Coriolis so it should be quick to pick up.
