New Werewolf: The Apocalypse Book Funded in Less Than 24 Hours!

Werewolf: The Apocalypse by White Wolf Publishing was one of my favourite, if not THE favourite role-playing game of my teenage years. So many hours given over to playing as a Red Talon, a Glass Walker or even a Get of Fenris! So I was surprised and overjoyed to see that the Deluxe version of the game book had been funded in less than a day through Kickstarter!
Werewolf: The Apocalypse puts you in the boots of a Garou, a werewolf in the service of Gaia protecting the Earth against the various threats that seek to bring humanity and the werewolf community down. Vampires, Hunters, Pentex (The deadly foe!), the Weaver, the Wyrm and more all strive to bring down your world and you must fight to survive in this world of savage blood and fury.
The new book will compile all the old rules and every tribe together in a full colour edition of the rules which has also been bought up to date with the real world. The modern night now plays host to a new age of the Garou!
If you managed to play this game before it was replaced by Werewolf: Forsaken, or if you are interested in the idea of being a massive seven to eight foot Crinos (a Werewolf in its full battle form!) tearing apart enemies with your bare hands then consider pledging and grabbing this awesome tome!
Get raging my Garou brothers!
I always felt that the Werewolf the Apocalypse was the most original of the Classic World of Darkness settings with Wraith the Oblivion coming a close second, but I never got around to play either of them. Played the Wild West setting instead for a while and liked it very much. So I’m not complete stranger to the Apocalypse setting. It’s true that Werewolf the Forsaken of the New World of Darkness setting lost much of its appeal, even if the core concepts stayed pretty much the same. Maybe I’ll get around to play this edition of the Apocalypse. But… Read more »
I had a chance to play years and years ago, but somehow it never got done, and I lost touch with that GM… Too bad, I guess !
Haven’t played this RPG in over 15 years. Not sure I would again, need the right group. Enjoyed the vampire setting more but it is nice to see this appearing. 🙂
