July 2, 2020 by brennon
Cubicle 7 has this week released the PDF opened up physical pre-orders for the next step in the Enemy Within Campaign for Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play. This time around you'll be hitting the rivers of The Old World with Death On The Reik.

For this and the Companion which we'll talk about later, you can order them now and expect the physical releases later this year in 2020. In Death On The Reik, you'll be continuing the adventure penned by Graeme Davis whilst also delving into more as part of a Director's Cut which provides you with masses of additional material for both this campaign and beyond.
Following on from Enemy In Shadows you're heading onto the mammoth Reik river, meeting the River Wardens and heading to Altdorf and beyond. Will you be able to deal with the Cultists whoa are following in your wake and dogging your every step?
In addition to this, you'll also find the Grognard Boxes which enhance the adventure and tweak it for those who played back in the day plus you've also got the River Life Of The Empire section which allows you to add more river-based adventures into your other games away from The Enemy Within.
Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play: Death On The Reik Companion
In addition to the core book which continues this tale you can also advance pre-order the Death On The Reik Companion.

These books are absolutely fantastic for adding more colour and narrative for your campaigns. I talked about them myself in a recent rundown of all of the books available for Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play which is available HERE. Inside this book, you'll find...
- Exclusive Guest Commentaries from James Wallis and Martin McKenna on their memories of the original Death on the Reik.
- A GM’s Guide including: a complete breakdown of the Red Crown, one of the Empire’s most dangerous Tzeentch cults.
- Additional adventure content, including: The Emperor Luitpold, a luxury barge with a bevy of secrets in its holds and staterooms, and ‘The Vengeance of The Gravelord’, part 1 of an adventure thread that can be woven throughout The Enemy Within.
- A selection of new herbs from ‘Hortensia Puddlefoot’s General Concordance of Herbs’.
- An examination of life on the Reik with details on settlements and trade.
- A Bestiary of monsters that haunt the river, and a list of waterborne diseases.
- A wide range of riverfolk NPCs with hints and tips for how to incorporate them.
So, there is a lot more to dive into when it comes to Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play beyond the retelling of a classic tale.
Are you going to be picking these up for your own campaigns?

I still own and have played the original 1st Ed. WFRPG Death on the Reik campaign….. a couple of party deaths, a betrayal/turn to the”other” gods, a mutant in the party and a nucking futs priest of Morr who wanted to nuke the chaos wastes
I promised myself “no more collector’s editions” but the art on the CE books C7 are releasing is just stunning and has won me over. Indomitus will be eating my funds this month but next month I think these will be top of my list.
It’s not Blanchitsu, but it is a good effort.
