Take On A New D&D Adventure In The Rage Of Demons Campaign
August 30, 2015 by brennon
Wizards Of The Coast have shown off the main adventuring book that will be available on September 15th 2015 for their Rage Of Demons campaign in Dungeons & Dragons. Out Of The Abyss is an adventure for characters of level one all the way up to fifteen...
Will you descend?
"The Underdark is a subterranean wonderland, a vast and twisted labyrinth where fear reigns. It is the home of horrific monsters that have never seen the light of day.
It is here that the dark elf Gromph Baenre, Archmage of Menzoberranzan, casts a foul spell meant to ignite a magical energy that suffuses the Underdark and tears open portals to the demonic Abyss.
What steps through surprises even him, and from that moment on, the insanity that pervades the Underdark escalates and threatens to shake the Forgotten Realms to its foundations. Stop the madness before it consumes you!"
As well as the adventure you yourself can undertake there will be additional content across multiple formats. the MMORPG Neverwinter will get a new expansion and the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide will also tell this tale.
A famous face in Drizzt Do'Urden will pop up once again to help fight against the darkness and additional video game content will also be available.
Things are all sounding a bit creepy with this latest adventure and it's a nice twist in tone compared to both the Rise of Tiamet and Elemental Evil campaigns.
Will you be giving this a go?

Fantastic 🙂 I just picked up the Player’s Handbook for myself (the rest of the books are coming) and I’ve been watching the Critical Role adventures to get myself excited…
How were the Rise of Tiamat and Elemental Evil storylines to play through @nosebiter?
BoW Ben
Effing ‘elll. Can’t remember AD&D being like that when I was a kid!
Don’t have nightmares…
“OK, so the plan is that Drizzt solos Demogorgon, while you lot (points at PCs) take care of the others. Any questions?”
Looks to much like an other Game With chaotic monsters & demon’s???
