Custom Templates Unlocked For Tiles Of Adventuring
March 9, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Impudent Mortal's Tiles of Adventuring: Tabletop Grid System Kickstarter has entered its final week, but they're not done yet!
As promised, they have opened up the premise of stretch goals to the imaginations of the backers, and they have asked for hexagon tiles (DONE & in two different sized grids) and some game specific templates (READY)!
To date, the two games requested have been Savage Worlds and Pathfinder, so Impudent Mortal went to work and has come up with some great options for gamers. The first set for Savage worlds, comes as a set of five different pieces in pairs of each item except for the 45 degree turn template.
These templates were created with an interesting touch - the square shape with etched circle template. They made them like this to allow minis to sit flat on them, instead of leaving that pesty edge/lip that tips your minis over when they're on the outer edge of the template.
The second set asked for is for Pathfinder and features a set of eleven different configurations to make your gameplay even more handy.
As a reminder, these handy acrylic tiles and templates can be drawn on on their smooth side, using wet or dry erase markers to customize your games.
If you find you'd like a little more definition to the grid lines, you can also essentially color in the lines on the etched side to create permanent color variation- a great little option.
Will you be adding some templates to your Tiles Of Adventuring pledge?
