Cubicle 7 are now on Kickstarter with their roleplaying game, Victoriana. Head to the cobbled streets of 1887 London and take on the role of Irregulars as you investigate the strange and the dangerous during a time of revolution.

As mentioned above, Victoriana takes place in a world like our own but with a Fantasy twist. You're still on the streets of 1887 London but the norms have been defied and the emergence of magic and the supernatural has changed everything forever. Strange and fantastical folk walk the streets, wyvern riders fly through the sky and magic and science have come together to produce hitherto untold technological advances. This is Steampunk but with an extra dose of magic on top.

In Victoriana, you will play as Irregulars who have come from all different walks of life and now find themselves embroiled in the bigger goings-on of this Steampunk world. You will find yourself battling monsters, infiltrating secret societies and defying great powers. All of this is done through the 5E mechanics.

Whilst Victoriana is based on the 5E rules, Cubicle 7 have added depth so you're not just playing a Steampunk version of the classic Fantasy game. That means more rules for social interactions and investigation, rules for conflict resolution (using your words!), new Steampunk graphics and of course, additional character classes, backgrounds and options.

The Core Book comes with everything that you need for running games of Victoriana and making characters. It will be your first port of call and all you'd need are the free 5th Edition rules for you to get started in Victoriana.

The second book is the Menagerie which functions as the Monster Manual of Victoriana. Not only does it contain rules for different monstrous foes that you'll encounter in Victoriana but also many of the Londoners that you'll meet whilst walking the streets and fighting against those that would threaten the Eternal Struggle.

The last of the main books is Dreadful Inquiries. This features five adventures for Irregulars from levels one through to five that will have you solving murder mysteries, battling different foes and visiting iconic London landmarks.

Last but not least, there is also a Collector's Edition which is a rather fancy book for those that want to go all-in. As with all Kickstarters, there are also Stretch Goals for you to get your hands on by pledging...

These include an introductory PDF called Penny Dreadful (apt) as well as props, more items of power, unique character sheets and more mechanics like Diversions for the Core Book. These all seem like neat additions and I'm sure more will be unlocked over the course of the campaign.
