Need Help Creating Your RPG World?

So your gaming group is getting together this upcoming weekend and they are expecting you to come up with the next new and exciting adventure for your RPG and you have writer's block, what do you do? Well, you could always turn to the new Kickstarter project, Worldspinner.
With this software, which is based online and you will be able to create new worlds for your next adventure. You will be able to populate your new world with different races and cities and be able intertwine stories into your unique world. Also, to add that special touch based upon your pledge level you can print some pretty impressive maps, so your party can choose the direction they would like to take. This is a very interesting concept and I am curious to see how far it goes and how in depth it can get. Also, is it able to cross worlds for those who are D&D players or Pathfinder or any other RPG. They also say they will have some fantasy authors writing more detail to add to your creations depending on how high the pledges get.
I would still like to see how this will actually work and I hope they will come up with an example soon.
Does your adventure need a new direction?
This is perfect for me, I’m struggling with creating a sandbox rpg.
I’d be interested to learn more about the mechanics of this. I don’t need help with a storyline but it’s always a pain creating a map of the world in Photoshop or a vector graphic program.
Well, as I understand, it builds a world, adds locations like cities, forests… and add story hooks in them. The rest is for the DM.
Great for me, as I have no problem spinning a tale but do need a basic idea or story hook.
