CMON Take Pre-Orders For Marvel: Multiverse RPG Starter Set

CMON are now taking pre-orders for the Marvel: Multiverse Role-playing Game over on Gamefound. The Deluxe Starter Set is available right now featuring everything you need to get started in tabletop roleplaying within the Marvel universe.

The Marvel Multiverse Role-playing Game makes use of the d616 system where 3d6 are used when you attempt any test. This handles all of your actions and rolling high is often better than rolling low. However, if you roll a one on the Marvel Dice, it counts as a six and unlocks a Fantastic Roll which produces more fun twists for your actions.

You get the dice and everything else you need to start playing within the set including a mixture of awesome characters at different power levels.

The set comes with a condensed Rulebook giving you everything you need to get started as well as an adventure, Escape From Planet Hulk. I would say that the story sounds quite self-explanatory! There is also a full booklet detailing all of your powers for quick reference purposes.

The set also comes with pre-generated characters for the likes of Captain America, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Storm and Black Panther as well as Power Cards which you can use for quick reference as well. You'll also get maps, tokens and more which are going to be useful for all of the enemies and allies you meet throughout the adventure.

Last but not least, you also get these pre-order exclusive 2D standees that represent the different heroes you'll be playing as. These are very nice I have to say!

There are additional 2D standee options for you to get your hands on as part of the pre-order so if you're eager to pack out your collection with more characters then you'll have the chance. This seems really nifty and I like that CMON has gone to the effort of working on such a wide range of different characters and producing some nice components for the Starter Set.
