Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Soulbound gets a brand new book for you to dive into! Champions Of Death is now available in PDF and you can also pre-order the physical version too from the folks at Cubicle 7 for a bit of Fantasy roleplaying.

Champions Of Death - Age Of Sigmar Soulbound SEPT

Champions Of Death // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Soulbound

Within this book, you'll find new ways to delve into adventures on the tabletop with Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Soulbound. Instead of playing as the forces of Order, you can take on the role of Vampires, Ghasts and more who have been bound together in service of the Great Necromancer...

  • Insight into the Great Necromancer Nagash, his history with the Soulbound, and why he may deign to forge a deathly Binding with his own skeletal hands.
  • Rules to play as horrifying Ghouls, skeletal Wights, vindictive Soulblight Vampires, spectral Nighthaunts, or powerful Ossiarch Bonreapers, as well as advice on how and why your character became Soulbound and dozens of sample Short- and Long-term Goals.
  • 20 new Death-focused Archetypes such as the Vampire Lord and Knight of Shrouds, as well as rules for playing sub-factions such as the Blisterskin of the Flesh-eater Courts, the Mortis Preatorians of the Ossiarch Bonereapers, the Vyrkos Dynasty of the Soulblight Gravelords, and many more!
  • Over 50 new Talents, 10 powerful new Miracles of Nagash, and 50 new spells drawn from the twisted Lores of Magic wielded by the undead — including five terrifying new Endless Spells!
  • Over 30 new Endeavours for undead characters to undertake, as well as new Dark Rituals to unleash on your foes — host a grand feast of the Flesh-eater Courts, bestow the Blood Kiss of the Soulblight Vampires, or raise a horde of zombies to do your bidding!
  • Advice for Gamemasters and players on running Death-focused campaigns, as well as statistics for over a dozen servants of the Forces of Order for your Champions of Death to face!

I like that Warhammer Age Of Sigmar and the Mortal Realms opens up the treasure chest of player options when it comes to roleplaying. Because the realms are so vast and there are many different heroes in various guises, it's cool to imagine the multifaceted stories you can tell.

Blood Knight Art - Age Of Sigmar Soulbound

Blood Knight Art // Warhammer Age Of Sigmar Soulbound

Admittedly, I don't think that many folks in the Mortal Realms would consider a Blood Knight the most valiant of heroes. I really like the idea of a full group of characters from this book who have been banded together to undertake some foul mission for Nagash that despoils the realms of Order.

I also like the idea of mixing these characters with the Soulbound of Order. Imagine Nagash and Sigmar have come to some agreement and your Blood Knight now must serve alongside the Stormcast and the like in order to combat some greater threat.

Are you going to pick up the new book?
