Bombshell Miniatures Tease New Counterblast RPG Kickstarter

Bombshell Miniatures dropped a little teaser this week that they're going to be working on a new Kickstarter project soon. Their Sci-Fi world of Counterblast is going to be getting a Savage Worlds-compatible roleplaying game in March.

The Counterblast RPG is going to bring all of the Pulp/Sci-Fi awesomeness of the Adventure Battle Game to a new medium. You'll be able to play a whole variety of fun and interesting characters from their background including humans, robots, aliens and cyborgs to name a few. You'll then be pitted against deadly threats like the Edofleini or the Neiran who are threatening to overwhelm the galaxy!

What's nice is that whilst the roleplaying game is a welcome addition to the Counterblast world, you can also make use of the extensive miniature collection by Bombshell to aid in your storytelling at the tabletop.

The Savage Worlds system is a great one for telling Pulp-style adventures and certainly suits the vibes that Bombshell are going for. I've played a few games of it and I've really enjoyed how it puts the power in the hands of the players and provides you with fun heroic moments as well as harrowing lows!
