Archon Studio are planning to launch their newest Dungeons & Lasers Kickstarter on 11th April. A new preview page has been fired up so that you can go and check out what Archon are going to be offering and lend your support if you see anything that needs tweaking! Welcome to the World Of Deuslair!

The new campaign is going to be an expansion of what they've done previously. Dungeons & Lasers has created a host of awesome miniatures and terrain for use in your roleplaying games but the new World Of Deuslair campaign is going to explore all of that plus put you in their own Fantasy realm complete with a new Bestiary and RPG campaign for good measure.

That means a new collection of over 400 miniatures that will then have rules and mechanics that are tied to the world that Archon has created. That Bestiary, alongside the new RPG campaign, means that you can dive in and play out a complete D&D adventure using the 5th Edition rules with miniatures to suit everything that you're going to be running into on your travels.
I really like the idea of this. It offers a complete package, a bit like the Epic Encounters sets by Steamforged Games, but on a grand scale. Not only are you getting all of the plastic miniatures you'd probably ever need, but a world to use them in and a storyline to follow.
As it stands, the Core Set of miniatures for the game comes in at a healthy ninety-nine miniatures which is pretty darn awesome in of itself. But, the campaign is looking to offer more add-on opportunities and stretch goals that will expand your choices.

As well as faithful takes on classic monsters like Beholders and Owlbears, the team at Archon have also been working on some pretty monolithic creations like a towering Tarasque. You can check out more on all of that over on their Preview Page before the Kickstarter goes live.
This certainly sounds like a great idea and we're big fans of the Dungeons & Lasers line in general. Seeing Archon dive into building up their own Fantasy world and a host of monsters, heroes and more to go alongside it just seems like the right next step.
