Archdevil Geryon Announced As WizKids’ New Premium Miniature
August 20, 2021 by fcostin
A new foe is approaching, ready to settle into your next D&D campaign as a brand new Icons of the Realms miniature has been announced. Archdevil Geryon is menacingly gliding in as a D&D Premium figure from WizKids, with an intimidating wingspan and a fearful glare that could stun any enemy caught in its glaze.
D&D Icons of the Realms Miniatures: Archdevil Geryon Premium Figure // WizKids
Geryon is an absolutely massive miniature, coming pre-painted. This menace is ready to come straight out of the box into your ongoing campaign.
Although this miniature could easily be embedded with your own backstory and lore as a fearsome campaign boss for your games, the Archdevil Geryon has his own story weft into a fate that can only be undone by heroes willing to take on the adventure:
“Although Levistus still claims lordship over Stygia, he has been trapped in an enormous block of ice at the command of Asmodeus. For his part, Geryon marshals his followers and seeks to discover the means to replace his hated rival.”
Boasting brutality, instead of Geryon loving long walks on the beach and brunch on a Sunday prevening, this big nasty enjoys the harsh suffering of others embedded in his hands, and the feeling of fresh enemy blood finding comfort between his gruesome fangs.
Geryon is ready to be implemented in your campaign - whatever outcome you choose. So whether you want him to continue his path in fate’s decision through a life of gore, blood and skull-crushing, or have some other ideas for his persona, be sure to check in with your FLGS store or online to see if he is ready to come out of the box and onto your tabletop.
What campaign would you add Archdevil Geryon to?
"This big nasty enjoys the harsh suffering of others embedded in his hands, and the feeling of fresh enemy blood finding comfort between his gruesome fangs."

Nice a great necromancer figure?
So I was wondering why the other articles on this range only showed coloured renders… “D&D Premium figure” is not a wording I’d choose. The paint jobs look “simple” to put it mildly. The group shot especially make all the minis look like cheap toys.
But I guess that’s what you get, when you can’t be bothered to paint your own mini *and* use them for RPG 😉
MSRP: $49.99 Wow, that’s a steep one…
$50 is the low end of the range, some even unpainted are over $100. They have GW prices without GW quality but from what I can read in some RPG forums, these are better than sliced bread so they will sell.
Snake-demon Glenn Danzig
(Looks 1:1 on height, too, yuk yuk yuk!)
Is it carrying some kind of big horn in its left hand?
It looks like some cut Michael Morbius in half and gave him a snakes tail.
