Aquisitions Incorporated Learn the Ropes of D&D Next
August 17, 2012 by brennon
Some of you might know the history of Acquisitions Incorporated but if you don't, you're really missing out! Headed up by the creators of Penny Arcade and PvP this Role-Playing group has been one of the main points of reference for D&D 4th Edition, Dark Sun and now D&D Next by Wizards of the Coast.
The team, led by Omin Dran (CEO of Acquisitions Incorporated), kick some serious ass in a land far away. Members include Jim Darkmagic (of the New Hampshire Darkmagics), Binwin Bronzebottom, and Aeofel (Al - played by Wil Wheaton!).
Alongside Mike Mearls, senior manager of D&D R&R they are exploring character creation in the new edition and switching their characters over from 4th Edition to 5th. All in preparation for their live game at PAX this year.
Does this make you excited for more from D&D Next?

Love these Pax games.
In fact. I might go and watch them again…
Just started listening to the podcasts for the first time.
They are really useful for a nooby like me getting a sense of what DnD is all about.
Chris is so good imho.
I can’t tell at times what he did was planned or if it was
extemporised based on what the players have said.
