Taiga Miniatures are back on Kickstarter with a brand-new campaign focused on a full 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons story for you to dive into. Ages Of Aether: Eye Of The Storm is a full adventure plus a suite of miniatures for you to use during your games.
Ages Of Aether - Eye Of The Storm // Taiga Miniatures
When you dive into Ages Of Aether: Eye Of The Storm, your party has been tasked with the exploration of a realm torn between the shadowy influence of an undead king and the cunning schemes of a trickster god. Sounds like the perfect setting for a big new adventure.

The campaign is packed with vivid illustrations and maps so you can probably plunge your players into this evocative adventure. The fifty page adventure covers four unique locations as you look to seek out seven mystical artefacts whilst dealing with nine new monsters.

The actual adventure has a branching narrative with six possible endings meaning that you've got a bit of replay value in there as well. The theme is distinctly Dark Fantasy so it might also be a nice change to the regular Fantasy adventures you might have been going on with your friends so far.
You'll also find five pre-generated characters in the set alongside their character sheets. Tokens are also supplied for those looking to represent these characters and more on the tabletop but if you have a 3D Printer then you can also get your hands on a whole bunch of STL Files.

This allows you to take your adventures to the next level and perhaps dive into a fun new painting project that takes you away from what you've been working on recently. You can see the Core Set below which features the different sculpts you'll unlock.

I really like the Bosses and the Terrain in particular. The Terrain would also be great to print out as it could be used in all manner of different games. The Heroes all have their own unique twist and don't quite fit into the normal classes that you'd expect, at least in appearance. I am all behind the mushroom-based Mycelial Warden.
More is also going to be available as part of Add-Ons and eventual Stretch Goals for the campaign. For example, you can get yourself some more undead warriors.

Or, you can head off into the woods and see what it's like battling against the Forest Guardians & Beast. That beast model in particular is awesome and I so want that to be my next D&D character.

The campaign is going great guns and the team have reached their funding goal. So, if you're diving into this campaign you're getting your hands on a whole host of miniatures AND a new D&D adventure in February. If you'd like to try before you pledge, there is also a FREE STL Pack and Demo Adventure that you can scoop up from Taiga to see if this is for you.
Could you be tempted by the new Ages Of Aether: Eye Of The Storm campaign?
