New 15mm Monsters & Characters Available From Splintered Light
May 18, 2015 by brennon
Splintered Light Miniatures have shown off some of the mass of monsters and characters available for their 15mm role-playing line up. If you want to pick up a whole bunch of beasts and other personalities for dungeon crawls then this could work out neatly...
Shieldmaidens
First up is something a bit more historical with the Viking Shieldmaidens below who add to their existing historical line-up. The six different poses for the twelve models are shown below including my favourite which is the one in the middle (left).
Monster Mash
On the monster front we have a wide variety of different creatures that could pop up within a dungeon. Have a look at what's on offer and then come up with a funky dungeon crawl using them...
As you can see they have quite the selection including those amazing Ettins and the very strange yet epic named 'Chaos Panthers'. As if the normal Panther wasn't a terrifying enough beast to tackle, it now has tentacles.
On top of these 'normal' monsters there is a rather awesome looking Green Dragon which is just amazing. I love the Dragons that Splintered Light make and want to own them just because, well, they're Dragons!
As well as being used in the role-playing games I could see these beasts being cool monsters for larger armies in 15mm. The best thing about Splintered Light, in my mind, is that they have such a varied selection. If you're looking for monsters from a mythological setting then they probably have you covered.
Warbands Aplenty
As well as the monsters there are some cool warbands full of characters that would be great for skirmish games. See what you think of them...
I love the Bandits and the Kobolds who are looking superb in their 15mm form. This scale is perfect for role-playing games, I think, as (and I keep hammering on about this) you can grow a collection for a relatively cheap cost and with more variety and scale.
What do you think of their massive release list?

Nice you can not go wrong with a dragon 🙂
The tentacled panther is a displacer beast from D&D which in turn was borrowed from the ‘Black Destroyer’ section of ‘Voyage of the Space Beagle’ by A.E. van Vogt.
