Raging Heroes Take A Closer Look At Their Fantasy Pirates
June 25, 2020 by brennon
Raging Heroes has been showing off a few more previews of what awaits those who dive in and pick up their Pirates Of The White Sea. These miniatures were previously available via their Patreon and are now up for sale on their webstore as proper heroes for you to use in your Fantasy games.

The miniatures are available in finely detailed resin and offer up a selection of different characters who could be heroes (or villains) in their own right. I think each of these could be used to represent a new character in a roleplaying or skirmish game for example.

Seeing the miniatures "in the flesh" so to speak is awesome and there are plenty of fun little details here and there which I like. The lacing on the boots and the small trinkets here and there really helps to break up the big flowing cloaks and tattered clothing. It should draw the eye with a few little glints of gold and silver.

I would love to see a lot more people painting these up in some vibrant colours. It would be great to see them with some scenic bases for either the deck of a ship or a sandy beach.
How would you paint them up?

Not bad, still like the minis from Freebooters Fate better 😉
Totally agree, Freebooter Miniatures have far more character and I think I also prefer the pirates from Black Scorpion Miniatures to these ones.
The angle they have photographed Bonny makes it look as if she has a cat o’nine tails in her mouth… though what is in her mouth, cigar? Looks weird to me as it appears as if she is blowing… The cook would make a great halfling if scaled down and given hairy feet!
Judging by the bulge on her cheek it’s a lolly pop?
Yep, she has a lollipop in her mouth; she’s a resculpt of a Jailbirds character.
Those look great but I have to agree with some others that Freebooters Fate ones are better.
Ooh they look fabulous looking.
Like them alot, but wish we werent stuck with the cat head option.
