Mech Up With Raging Heroes Machines Of Prodigy Release
October 15, 2019 by brennon
Raging Heroes has been offering up an option for those looking to add more walkers into the mix for their Sci-Fi Sisters armies. The Machines Of Prodigy Pack offers up three characters who are lashed to their vehicles, ready to bring a sense of divine vengeance to their enemies.
This set of three miniatures above are scaled to around 35mm but they would be a good fit for those playing games like Warhammer 40,000 which is 28mm. Their actual height comes in at 85mm making them some towering options for you to invite into the fold.
The three characters are Ansaliah on the Pulpit of Exaltation, Serenith on the Pulpit of Invocation and Yrianth on the Pulpit of Supplication...
I'm sure that you'll already be thinking of these as options for alternative Penitent Engines in Warhammer 40,000 and the updated Adepta Sororitas army for 8th Edition. If you're more of a fan of the classic sculpting style for the old Sisters Of Battle these would be a good fit for that aesthetic.
I get the feeling that these mechs, however, host more willing subjects than those that get strapped to those grimdark instruments of torture.
What do you make of these new options?

Good to see more from RH with how wide the range has become. I’ll set this set on my Giftmas list for next year if I’m realistic about how quick I paint.
VERY nice! Certainly weird seeing someone who actually straps themselves into a Penitent Engine willingly, but that’s the Sisters for you.
great looking walkers they kind of remind me of mini imperator titans.
I wasn’t keen on mixing RH and the new SoB infantry, but I think the walker might work. *edited to make more sense.
Never got the practicality of these, build an armoured walker and stick the scantily clad “pilot” in the front as a massive bullet magnet. Sure it makes a pretty mini, but at some point you’ve got to add in some semblance of practicality.
I always wondered why they didn’t just put the pilots in the back.
The whole point of a Penitent Engine, either here or in 40K, is that the pilot is supposed to be exposed. These are either criminals or failed Sororitas that are being punished by being strapped to the front of this crazy suicide machine and sent to fight on the front until they’re killed. So they’re basically throwaway shock troops, not heavily-armored beatsticks like Dreadnoughts.
