New Superheroes Don Their Costumes For Pulp City
November 28, 2016 by brennon
Pulp City graces us this November with some new releases for their superhero world. Seven new characters are ready to get stuck into the action so let's dive in...
Leading the way here we're heading to the deep sea with Aquanaut sporting a rather awesome get-up and a cruel looking trident which she no doubt uses with ruthless efficiency.
Powered Up
Following on from her we're looking to Battlesuit 7, somewhat inspired by Ironman I would imagine.
The older and more retro feel of the suit looks great and during a fight, you can even switch things up and turn from offensive to defensive mode depending on the flow of combat.
Natural Warrior
Next up we have Bramble who is very much in line with my type of hero. I love the idea of a character who can draw on the natural world as their power and that bow looks awesome.
While using a bow in the modern day probably isn't very useful it does look very cool (yay for Hawkeye!) and when it's imbued with magic it probably packs quite the punch.
Strange Powers
Following on from her we're keeping with the weird and the wonderful as we get a look at E.C.T.O.
Interestingly this fellow is 'mechanical' which you probably wouldn't have first thought and has the ability to not only become super dense, an immovable object, but also phase entirely making him harder to hit.
Teaming Up
We're entering the realm of the spy and the soldier now as we look at both Sabotage here...
...and Spybreaker.
Both of them look like they've drawn on some inspiration from the world of Captain America and both would work well together as they have rules that compliment each other nicely.
Twilight Killer
Rounding things off we have Twilight here who looks decidedly dangerous with those cruel knives in her hands.
She definitely has the look of a villain about her and I'm already thinking about how Spybreaker and Sabotage could be tasked to track her through the city after an assassination attempt.
What do you think of these new heroes and villains?

some nice interesting figures.
Those are some great looking models.
Aquanaut’s pose is… uhm.. unfortunate? … in the card art she is leaping off the top of a chain-link fence…. hence the forward fall… but it’s a bit strange from this angle… otherwise I like a lot of those sculpts… The Twilight Figure is a bit too static when you figure the rest of the models are in quite dynamic poses… Anyone play this? I’ve followed this game from far way for years now as their releases seem to wax and wane… Any comments on game play? Is this one I should finally check out?
You can have a look at the game’s mechanics thanks to their QSR : http://pulp-city.com/downloads-2/
A great skirmish game, simple to learn but hard to master, fast paced, action packed, you can start having fun with as few as 3 models per side and 5 to 7 models on average games.
