Before we move on, lets take out time now to tidy up some aspects of the tower, so that it look more "finished" rather than leaving some areas unpainted. Firstly, we use some Army Painter Necromancer Cloak to paint in the join areas where the stonework walls split or stop.

We have left the outer edges of the walls untouched by this step, as it looks more appealing to the eye to have a darker band within the "core" of the wall, letting us imagine we have cut the tower open and are peering into it through an opening.

Moving on, we then paint the lattice work of the windows with Army Painter Monster Brown. This gives the windows a look of having been constructed from a different kind of wood, or perhaps, replaced at some point with newer timbers.

To shade the windows, we add a coat of Army Painter Strong Tone. Don't forget to apply this to the interior windows too!
