It's OTTWeekender time! Despite the news that so many old miniatures are leaving the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game range, many more are coming to replace them and it looks like GW are rebuilding the game and the range ahead of the release of the brand new film, The War Of The Rohirrim, set before the time of The Lord Of The Rings!

Warlord Games has begun to dive a bit deeper into what's going to be on offer with their new Armies Of... books for Bolt Action. The first one of these books will be Armies Of Germany which releases on 30th January 2025. It will come around quicker than you think! Warlord dropped a bit more of an insight into the book this week.

If you're looking to bulk out your Winter army for the United States in World War II and Bolt Action, Warlord Games has new sets to scoop up. These sets would be great additions to the existing plastic miniatures available as part of the Battle Of The Bulge set and beyond. 

Perry Miniatures are back with some great new additions to their Napoleonic collection. They have added a selection of new 28mm miniatures to their range for the Ottomans and the French in Egypt using this period and the Duchy Of Warsaw. Plenty of artillery sounds from the rear of armies!

Black Scorpion Miniatures released a couple of new miniatures for you to use in your swashbuckling wargames and a bit of Wild West gunslinging. Leading the way, we have the Musketeer who is going to be swinging from chandeliers and fighting to heroic music. 

Victrix Miniatures released a new set of 28mm plastic miniatures for those looking to expand their Crusade-era collection. Whilst they have previously released miniatures for Crusaders from Europe, they have now added the basic Islamic Infantry & Archers into the mix. 

Micro Art Studio released a new set of pre-coloured/pre-painted terrain for use in your 28mm wargames. These would be good for game sets during the Feudal Japanese period and Sci-Fi games like Infinity.

It's OTTWeekender time! Warlord Games are now on Kickstarter with their brand new World War 2 board game, Vanguard: Normandy. If you're a fan of Bolt Action and real-time strategy games like Company Of Heroes then this might be an awesome project for you to get involved with.

Spectre Miniatures has revealed an absolutely stunning Remembrance Diorama that honours soldiers who fought from World War I through to the present day. This is a strictly limited edition diorama available until 11th November.

Pre-orders are now live from the folks at Gripping Beast for the newest supplement for the SAGA wargame. SAGA: Age Of Chivalry is available for you to snap up ahead of a prospective launch date of December. 

Great Escape Games are currently in the middle of their Kickstarter looking to fund the new plastic Mounted Gunfighters set for use in your 28mm Wild West games like Dead Man's Hand. 

Warlord Games' Vanguard: Normandy Board Game is now live on Kickstarter. This is a big new project from Warlord Games, looking to introduce the battles of World War II to more people as well as offer wargamers a new option when it comes to battling it out on the tabletop. 

James Morris, the man behind the awesome new Fantasy wargame Midgard Heroic Battles was nice enough to give us a look inside the book! For those not aware, Midgard Heroic Battles allows you to play out heroic battles from history, myth and legend (and everything in between) in various scales and with whatever miniatures you have access to.

This week's Cult Of Games XLBS has Lloyd at possibly the most excited we've ever seen him. Could this be THE project that gets Lloyd crafting, building and maybe even, heaven forbid, painting?! Lloyd plots out how he'd like to make a fun racing game for the tabletop.

Brigade Games has a couple of new 28mm scale sets for you to snap up that would be great for World War II raids against Italian and German facilities. You could say that they might well form into a ministry of rather ungentlemanly warfare given the chance.
