About the Project

Hi guys, I want to show you some pictures of the process of my version of Queen of the Void and also my experience in the contest and painting the miniature. When I chose this miniature, I was not decided. I like several and I wanted a miniature where to express all my sensitivity and what I like to do. My Queen is a girl, although she has monstrous features, some lines are very feminine and expressive. That is the reason why I chose it. I also think that it is not sexualized, and for me this is important. We create realities when we speak or "create" something. The image of a strong female figure, with a powerful story, an elegant presence ... Queen of The Void is my favorite miniature in Celestial Miniatures range. That's why I recommend getting it without a doubt. The first week I enjoyed a lot with the miniature. The first steps are the most fun for me. The camera could not capture the green nuances in the skin faithfully. Later, I did not try to hide my true intention. I only secretly kept my idea for the base. But in the painting, I tried to do things that I already knew and apply them in a large miniature, a harder scale for me. I have solved some parts in a more technical way, like NMM metals, and I have defined less those parts that had less relevance in my painting. In general, I think it is a very passionate painting. I am very grateful to participate in this contest. From the first moment, communication has been good and the organization is very professional. This is not very usual so I am delighted to be part of this event. I hope you enjoyed it a lot, just like me. The fair play of all the miniaturists is also evident and I have seen very nice initiatives on the part of everyone. So congratulations to all my colleagues.

Hi guys,

I want to show you some pictures of the process of my version of Queen of the Void and also my experience in the contest and painting the miniature.

When I chose this miniature, I was not decided. I like several and I wanted a miniature where to express all my sensitivity and what I like to do.
