Base Coats on the Infantry
After a break I got back to my JSA guys and finished putting the base coats on the rest of the units from the battle box. Tomorrow if the weather holds out they will get clear coated and then its time for washes a few extra highlights and a final clear coat to seal them up.
Base Layers on my bikes
Have the majority of the base layers on Yojimbo and all the layers down on the Kuroshi rider. Decided to have a little fun and put some kanji on each bike and some cherry blossoms on the side of Yojimbo’s bike.
Starting to put down base layers.
I have been working on getting my greens and grays down first. The color scheme I have chosen is based on the DeepForest scheme presented in the Uprising book. The Daiyokai and Kuge Delegate are done with their base coats and need to get a wash then a little highlighting. I am going for a paint job that I will be happy to put on the table but will not take me forever to complete as well.
Starting off
First Models Sorry for the shite Picture but as the models get painted I will try to get better pictures for them. The models in the picture are the Models from the army box plus Yojimbo and Shinobu Kitsune. I will be keeping the Green theme that she has but adding some other colors in. Probably white. There is a particular color scheme in the JSA book that I really like and wanted to try for this army. Basing will be relatively simple with Deathray Designs Base toppers.
