First steps with first bust
So I picked up the Knowledge bust from Taro Model Maker
It was an excellent cast with very minimal clean up, a black primer then a zenithal highlight with the airbrush to help.
Next was to block out some orange and flesh tones with the airbrush.
Cult of Paint Brush Skills Course
I managed to get on a Cult of Paint brush skills course a few weeks ago, ran by Andy Wardle himself. Learnt absolutely loads. I’m really looking to improve my mini painting, and understanding of the whole process and this was the first step. I’ve bought some busts to practise on as I think the larger scale will be make learning easier.
Andy also brought along some of the sculpts from their recent kickstarter, some painted by other well known mini painters, and some of his golden demon and competition entries
