About the Project

Here I will post progress of my Age of sigmar army, planned to get 1500pts painted. Every non hero unit will be painted using speedpaints to save time which then can be invested into the heroes.

Vargheists

These models are oart of my collection for a long time now. They finally found their way onto the tabletop since I like Vargheists for the Soulbright Gravelords but the original GW models look so bad.

These lovely sculpts are from Karol Rudyk and resemble the Nosferatuish vampire perfectly.

This leaves me now with just Radukar to paint and a unit of fell bats which bases need some work to do.

Dire wolves

My dire wolves are now painted and just need some basing material to fit the rest of the models.

They are a mix of the nice new ones and the older with the wierd proportions. These were super quick to paint and only used speedpaints and about an hour for 10 doggos.

first unit done - blood knights

The blood knights were the first unit I finished. Except a few touchups I unly used speedpaints on these wich went really well with their bright red armour.

first heroes - little red riding hood

Vampires were one of my most favorite armies long before AoS was a thing. Due to the amount of models I avoided starting any vampire army till now. The currently AoS vampires are not only great looking models but can get away with a relative low body count.

My first model was Ivya Volga (propably my favorite model of the line) followed by Sekrahs box wich includet some wolves and bats aswell – great for the beast theme I want to run.

Little red riding hood (Ivya) and the big bad wolf (upcoming Radukar the beast) was just a little silly theme I m using after I decidet to paint her coat red.

For 1500pts I will go with:

Radukar the Beast

Ivya Volga

Sekhar

20 Dire Wolves

3 fell Bats

3 Vargheists

5 Blood Knights

Sekhar is also a great sculpt especially the snake which I converted a bit. Until I get my hands on Radukar she will be the general.
