About the Project
Empire of the Dead is one of those games I've always liked the look of but never gave it a chance. So I picked up the rules and a couple of factions. I just need some scenery

Two more warbands painted up
I picked up the order of the dragon and gentleman's club box sets. I need some of the more exotic weapon packs to add to the bands 
Imperial Adventurer's club
The gentleman's club warband is very diverse and allows you to create different clubs. One is the imperial adventures who have returned to blighty after exploring the darker regions of the globe. Led by Alan Quartermain 
I made the band from a mix of minis duch as dead man's hand. Wargames Atlantic. Perry miniatures and Giants in miniature. Why my images are upside down only the Babbage engine can tell you.
Invisible Man
The invisible man. In the game he can strip and be invisible and is represented by three tokens. The opponent doesn't know which one he is.
I thought it would be fun to print some naked men. (Never thought I'd say that) and use them as the tokens in clear resin.
Although he does seem more buff with his clothes off.Adding walls
My back to back housing need more walls to create yards. I've also put an embankment under my railway line
Print failures getting a new use as a demolition site.
Industrial zone continues
I've not finished all of the factory buildings. There is a piece missing from the back yet to print. You can see I've made a ruin from some print failures.
I've added some wall sections to create some yards seperating the industrial areas from the railway line and houding. I need to make some more
It all seems to blend in with my original buildings well enough Industrial area
Started on the industrial zone to fight over. The buildings are again fro Hartolia prints and the chimney adds do.w height to the board. I feel like I need an assassin on the top ready to jump. I want to add a lot more walls Catch Jack battle report
We had a go at the quick start scenario where Jack the ripper attempts to murder four of the ten civilians walking randomly around the city streets. In hot pursuit is sherlock and watson
There are three peelers patrolling the streets and are moved by whoever has the initiative. Should they spot criminal behaviour they come under the control of sherlock
Jack finds his first victims
Using his game is a foot ability sherlock gets a rush on leaving Watson with his dodgy knee behind
Jack is caught in a pub yard but sherlock underestimated Jack's knife ability and falls to his blade
Watson takes a shot but the bullet hits the lamp post and jack escapes with the organs of two victims making outr practice game a draw.
Our second game had the Bedlam brotherhood try and rescue their leader from the police. This ended up with a mass scrum with jack the ripper aiding the brotherhood. Peelers use net guns to subdue their enemies but ninja bob broke free. The brotherhood have some random abilities so can perform great or terribly leading to some fun moments. Our crook escaped after being released with the police in pursuit 
We then got together with some work colleague and played the games again. It was odd seeing some usually polite ladies suddenly shouting "stab her up" "slit that throat" I guess you never really know some people.
Gothic ruins
Playing around with some countryside scenery for some out of town adventures. I dug out my sarissa ruin city kits for a possible ruined Abbey.

At partizan wargames show at the weekend I got two more factions. Van helsings vampire hunters and Draculas bunch of dead friends.
3Dprinted lamp posts I managed ho find free 
I also got the supernatural branch. The boys of Hell Division 
These got rebased and painted first Basing
Some 3D printed bases that were from darkfire designs and intended for starwars yavin4 but I felt they would fo the job for this project. I started on civilians and police
The Discombobulated house
A couple of print failures gave me only half a house but because I printed the rooftops separately I can use them as little out houses and actually work well.
This print went a bit wrong but I decided to embrace it. Maybe it's the home of some father insane character or it's warping in from another dimension. What ever the reason the neighbours stay well awayHomemade boarding
Using some spare mdf I made some fence like boarding and covered them in posters. So the table isn't all brick
MDF upgrade
Using a stencil from sarissa and some wood filler I got to work adding some details to some old kits from timeline miniatures. 
Some of the bricks came away when painting but it's not meant to look nice. 
Posters
I collected some victorian advertising from the Internet. I went for real ones rather than anything steampunk 
The other side of the street
These are the paints I use for my bricks with some grey and blue thrown in.
Not sure how many buildings to print but the more I do the better it looks
