About the Project
A Blood Bowl 7s league has started at the local store. Most of my men are assembled, and my starting squad is based, but I need to get them all painted as I get my games in.

Start of the Season
Well, first day of new league! We met, I became statistician for the league, and did a little paint while we played learning games. Since someone wanted to try out Necromantic, I leant my unpainted figures for use but held back a turn marker for paint. I had primed with purple, so when I added Zealot Yellow 1.0 speedpaint over the pumpkin, I got an orange. I decided to just go with it. Absolution Green for grass and pumpkin stem, some Purple Alchemy in the grass, Gravelord Grey on the stone and Grim Black on the raven. Picked out some details in Moon Dust and did a dry brush of Ash Grey over the gravestone and done in an hour.
After that I got a bit of time to put some base colors on Grandflea Walks there. I like how the Amber Skin turned out; makes the face look unsettling, I’ll probably do similar on the palms of the hands and feet.
After that, I played against Nurgle, and lost a hard found 0-1 battle.
Season Preparations
Candle McShable being outstanding in his field, Grandflea Walks running up the sideline (NO! Bad dog!) and Coach Blood Rant looking on.Starting with a simple roster of seven:

Add to that a very expensive BB7s reroll, and two fans, and we’re good to go. Looking forward to getting them painted up soon.
