About the Project

Started Spring cleaning early as I have new and old projects waiting to get started but I need to de-hibernate my workspace.

Going to share pictures of the project boxes that were found. I didn’t dig everything out of them but I checked the contents of the box sorted it to similar boxes and labeled the ends up so I can find and pull them off the shelf again. Only thing not found is my platoon of Bolt Action American Airborne. Seems they formed a mission to escape storage? I’m sure they will turn up I have another half of the garage to organize.

Reasons why I’m moving to clear project boxes with labels. I found my Bolt Action Airborne they were brought up and put in a box after priming. They got some cast off sprues dumped on top of them so thought the whole box was sprues. Good thing I checked before tossing. Now to find the last of the Bretonians I have two boxes of Men At Arms and some Knights of the Realm kicking around in the garage somewhere.

Stuff still to find

I still have a ways to go in going through the project bins but items I know I have but yet to find.

  • Bretonians – I have many old models of these and curious how many knights I have and I have a box of Men at Arms and more Realm Knights somewhere
  • Tyranids – I have no idea how many I have lurking about some where part of the shop theft so those are likely gone.
  • Bolt Action – I have a full platoon of US Airborne assembled and primed but they weren’t where I was expecting so they have to be somewhere.
  • Warzone – Old models for this all of it Bauhaus, not sure all that I have for these but I have the new edition of the game coming so excited to get these out.
  • Malifaux – Need to find these and get them based up. I was waiting for their translucent bases to get back in stock and it has been over 5 years so yeah going to scrap that idea and use the standard bases. I have some Collette and Viktorias to get painted up.
  • Guild Ball – I have the Kick Off set and a few other starters. Would like to get these painted up now that the game is getting support again. I had a lot of fun with it.

Look what I found

Started cleaning up and organizing my hobby space to get it ready to be active again. Started moving assembled miniatures into these bags

Look what I found

Found my Flames of War airborne recovered from a shop theft and fixing up the smashed damage. These are some engineers I made back in midwar first edition. The metal detectors are a bit of different gauge wire and some sequins glued to some spots where they held rifles and bazookas. Looks like engineers aren’t used in fourth edition but I have to dig deeper into the midwar lists.

Also forgot I picked this up a 1/100 scale model of a Douglas-47. If you have airborne you need a perfectly good plane for them to jump out of. This model is older than I am.

Look what I found

Here is the current hobby space not showing any of the miniature storage. That is still getting finished but I have room to work on some 28mm Carthaginians for Saga and the Romans are arriving next week. In the cigar box are the 15mm Romans I found for De Bellis Antiquitatis which I started ages ago. I need to get some 15mm Gauls for them to fight. Time to make a Xyston order I think.
