Fireflingers ?
So the illustration of the fireflingers immediately grabbed my attention when I read the Foleo a few years ago. I knew that I would have to make some fire fingers. I finally got around to it last autumn. From fimo and green stuff as usual.

Wierd cat thing with a glass head
I love the image of the wierd metallic cat with its mysterious glass fishbowl head, full of white mist, and simply had to recreate one. I used green stuff, fimo and some aluminium foil from tomato puree tubes to sculpt it. It was an easy paint job in the end, and I am fairly happy with the result.
Unbased and only base colours painted. Awaiting weathering.

Glass man
So when I got the fireheart book, several of the illustrations jumped out at me, and having kitbashed a Blade Hound, I quickly moved on to the glass man. I thought this would be quick and easy. It turned out to be rather fiddly to superglue tiny chopped pieces of blister pack plastic together into a vaguly humanoid shape. I wasn’t entirely pleased with the result, so it has languished unpainted untill recently. However after several months I have it a quick paint job as a break from other projects, and it was met with very positive feedback on FB. I was surprised, given how little I had invested in the miniature. I now plan to do a whole selection more.
Blade hound
On reading the fireheart book, the first construct I attempted was a kitbash of the blade Hound, as in thought it would be easy and effective. I am happy with the result, although it is not as nice as the official miniature and its tail is very fragile.
