Base coat and beginnings of skin

I based with zenithil by airbrush and a quick dry brush of white then wanted to try a new approach to the skin. I simply did a layer of Reikland flesh shade and it actually looked fine and was tempted to leave it there. I decided to airbrush pale flesh from Vallejo with increasing amounts if ivory in to hilight though and it ended up nice. I wanted a paler Celtic looking flesh than my Drunes.

After the flesh I finished them off pretty quick to be honest using a lot of contrast as a base with edge hilights.

Nazdreg yellow highted with page yellow and ivory for the gold.

I am carrying on experimenting with grey contrast then working black contrast/white gray/pure white for the NMM metals. Then various browns for the clothes (well for those WEARING clothes anyway…)

Finished off using ultramarine for the tattoos. Pleased with the result, can’t wait to get them to the table!
