About the Project
This project is detailing my build for the BlackJack Legacy 3 month challenge in conjunction with Mantic (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVlrGyWhfSs). This involves building a 1000pt Firefight Army of choice and is broken down in to mini challenges - Month 1, paint your Command Character/Team; Month 2, Any Vehicle; Month 3, full Army and will be celebrated in December with a trip to Mantic HQ for some games. Really excited about this as it is my intro to Firefight. I chose GCPS and used the tactical wargames world army builder to prepare my army on paper.

Month 1 - Command Units
Still waiting for delivery of my first models but have decided to paint up the Marine Major and Ranger Lt. I have decided on using an Urban Cammo scheme as long as I can manage it! On top of this I decided a diorama would be a great way to display the models, although have them removable, so decided on a war-torn street. Some years back I made some silicon moulds for road segments, so using these I decided on a street corner with a damaged building. The plaster was coloured grey and ‘reinforced’ – plastic mesh for the road and some wire for the building wall. Once demoulded, I broke them!
So Major and Lieutenant painted as well as illuminated display. We’ll find out when it comes to painting the troops if the Cammo choice was a mistake!
