All finished up with this year’s project for the NOCF. This group of morats were a blast to paint up. I have always wanted to paint some combined army stuff so it was a pleasure. Out of all the models this Kaitok was my favorite to paint out of the bunch. I will post again once I get the info on when the raffle starts.

Some red WIP

Some late night wip of the Kaitok. All brush work to strengthen the red. Shadows were glazed with a purple and the base red glazed to help saturate it a bit more. Also a bit of a tan yellow add to the red for the edge highlights.

I had to start with this model because the colors used by the studio were different from the rest of the army and drew me in.

Base WIP

Some WIP of the bases. All the colors used are pictured above. If you have followed my star wars legion project, I did something similar with my droids and some clones. That scheme was inspired by the official color scheme of the Combined Army. So it was nice to go full circle with that scheme. The bits of crystal/rock and flowers are from epic basing.

Bit of base work

Layered up the bases with some milliput. After that added some basing bits from epic basing. After the milliput cures I will add the grit. This picture also acts as a reference as to what model goes on what base. As the bits were set up with a particular model and probably will not work out with a different models foot placement.

The beginning

My 3rd year working with the Nova Open Charitable Foundation or NOCF. And 2nd year painting up an Infinity army that was generously donated by Corvus Belli. This year I will be working on the new Morat Aggession Force action pack. Like last year, I will upload WIP and the finished models. Everything is built and other than a bit of gap filling is ready to get primed.
