Hmm. Purple, Huh?
Felt that dark skin fit the figure, but didn't want to do straight black hair. Went with purple for something different. Hopefully with Dark Tone wash, it'll fit in. A big bright at the moment.At the Ready, Mr. Yellow

Now that is a look. Wanted to play around with this tall and skinny bloke in the absurd coat, and … I like it!
Also put some army green on the two muscle boys, just to push those forward a bit.
Pirate Guns
Just some skin tonight on the two tank top Pirate Troopers. Nice to progress on the last bunch a bit.Space Base
Had to emergency cover a split shift, so just did the base ring to keep the streak alive. Eh, needed doing.Greybacks
Put a coat of varnish on the Warbots and Shengrylla today, so they'll be done tomorrow. Besides that, was just some Necromancer Cloak on the remaining figures, just to figure out where I'm going with them. Have to do some skin tomorrow.Pirates Who Have Never Met Edna Mode
"NO CAPES!" Ah well, they look cool on the Pirates. Then plan is to tie the eight of them together with this dark grey color under a black wash. Maybe some star speckles after. Have to see. Anyway, a start on the last eight.Warbots Online
Some little details, the bases, and a second white coat of paint on the high spots and the Warbots are done. Just the Pirates to go. I seem likely to actually finish this project.White Highlight

Used the Holy White Speedpaint, which comes out pretty grey. Did the other red knees and belt, and some work on the gun. Also did some white highlighting on one. Progress.JSA Warbots
Evening work and running around this morning, so just did some Blood Red speedpaint on one of the Warbots. Decided to do the knee armor very Japan "Rising Sun" flag style, plus a stripe. Seems like a plan, since I have a Ninja Crew which is all JSA legal. Might end up with almost a JSA force out of this.A Darker Shade of Gray
Didn't like the light grey on the joints, so went over them, this time on both boys, with the darker grey. We'll see how it looks in the morning.Bot I'm Tired...
Was off playing Kill Team so didn't really have time, but threw some speedpaint into the Warbots joints and grills to see how it looks tomorrow.Monkeys in the Barrel
And Shengrylla are done. Definitely not my best paint job, but not the best models either. Still, good enough.
10 models remain. Warbots and Pirates. Maybe by August.
