About the Project
An old friend and I were chatting about LOTR over a bottle of whiskey (Penderyn) and he let slip that he was getting rid of some LOTR miniatures and would I like to have a look in case I wanted any. Well it turns out it was quite a lot of mini's and I wanted them all!!! and when he said he didn't want anything for them I preceded to pack them into my bag. If you have any methods for stripping the paint off plastic and metal mini's please let me know.

Elf Warrior
Okay I picked an elf for the first model to paint as it seemed to have one of the easiest paint schemes to do, I don’t want to knacker any of the models up so I’m going to start with the easier ones and work my way up to the main characters and hero’s.
Fingers crossed the rest of the elves look the same, I’m happy with the way it turned out so I’m going to keep track of the colours used on each type of model here. I’m aware my painting is not that good but I’m hoping that it will become better with at least a miniature a week minimum.
The Horde
Its going to be a long slog to clean and repaint all these minis, possibly a minimum of 1 mini a week lol
If you have any advice in how to strip the paint from them some are metal and some are plastic please let me know.
