That’s the Nomads finished with this Sombras. I managed to get a set with the pre-launch miniature (Wolfgang Amadeus Wolff), a mercenary who can be used for either faction. So he will be next.

This guy doesn’t look like he’ll be evading anyone, despite his title!

A lovely mini with lots of detail.

Nomad Intruder

Intruder finished. Rather than rocks on his base I went for a rusty metal look.

Good – No flesh to paint.

Bad – Lots of tiny, tiny hexagons on his shoulders.

It’s taken a little bit longer but I have painted the Alguacil. I did all three together this time rather than individually.

Only five more miniatures and I will have actually completed the set! It will soon be time to try a game.

On the left is a building that I have coloured the edges with some acrylic paint pens that I picked up from a local craft store. You could also use a sharpie and just do all the edges black. I am going to leave these built but if you want to save damage to the edges from multiple assemblies you can run a bead of super glue along the edges. This will soak in and will dry like plastic. First the Zenit-7 sniper. I gave her some urban camo for her ?poncho, with some green camo on the turned up cuffs with the idea that this could be reversible for a woodland camo.

Then a  Volkolak. I believe that he has some dog DNA so has grown bigger than his fully human allies.

That’s the seven Ariadna that come with the Crimson stone set. Next up the Nomads.

I liked the red hex patern used on the paper game mat. So I knocked up a thin base topper in tinkercad and printed some on resin. I’m more than happy with how they came out, even if they are a pain to paint.

1st impression is that the casts are really clean and well detailed.

I started with a currently fashionable zenithal prime. Although it helps me pick out the details I am struggling to use it for pre shade. The only area that I made it work was on the trousers. All areas were highlighted up to white as is the Infinity style.

At this point I am unsure what to do with the bases.
